Hong Kong edition
Founder-led bookkeeping, built for a jurisdiction with no small-company exemption.
Every set of Hong Kong books passes senior principal review before it lands in your inbox.
Finbryn is a founder-led bookkeeping service built around one idea: a Hong Kong company's books should already be clean by the time the statutory audit lands. Northlane Solutions Inc. holds the contract, and a senior principal checks everything before you see it.
The problem we set out to fix
A Hong Kong director's first surprise from an outsourced bookkeeper often arrives at the worst possible moment: the auditor opens the file and finds a year of loose ends. We built Finbryn so that surprise cannot happen, by reconciling every week instead of scrambling once a year.
Built around your working day
Rather than treat time zones as a gap to manage, we set working hours to overlap the second half of your business day, so a question you raise before lunch is usually answered before you switch off in the evening.

How the firm is structured
Founder-owned
No rotating account managers. The people who set up your account are the same people accountable for it.
A second set of eyes, every time
A senior principal reviews the file before it reaches you, so mistakes get caught internally rather than by your auditor.
Reviewed before it reaches you
Every file goes through senior principal review before it reaches you, and your books stay in your own Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books account throughout.
Set up for HKFRS from day one
Chart of accounts and reconciliation cadence follow HKFRS and the Profits Tax year from the start, not retrofitted once a filing deadline gets close.

Principal-led review
Nothing leaves before a senior reviewer has checked it.
Each month's work is prepared by the team, then checked by a senior reviewer before your reports go out. On the call, ask who reviews your file and we will tell you.

Questions
Frequently asked
Who is physically doing the work?
Inside your Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books file, with every set of books reviewed by a senior principal before it reaches you.
What does senior principal review actually catch?
Miscoding, an unreconciled account, or an open item left hanging. It runs on every file, every month, not just when a figure looks unusual.
Is Finbryn the firm that signs off our statutory audit?
No. We hand a reconciled set of books to your appointed Hong Kong-registered auditor, who audits the accounts. The BIR51 that follows is signed by a director or the company secretary and lodged by the company or its tax representative, often the same firm.
Who do we actually talk to day to day?
Your named pod. A change in staffing comes with a recorded handover memo before anything switches, not after.
How long has Finbryn been serving Hong Kong companies?
Finbryn works with Hong Kong companies on the same senior-principal-reviewed process used across every region it serves, applied specifically to Hong Kong's own audit, MPF and Profits Tax requirements rather than a generic template pulled from elsewhere.
Can we ask for the same accountant every month rather than a different person each time?
Yes. Files are assigned to a consistent accounting team rather than rotated, so the person who worked on last month's reconciliation is usually the same one working through this month's file as well.
