Why we started
Too many Australian small businesses only learn what their bookkeeper was really doing once something breaks: a provider closes, a contact leaves, or the file turns out to live in software they cannot take with them. We built Finbryn around the opposite: your file stays yours, and the price is published rather than quoted after a sales call.

Is Finbryn itself a tax practitioner?
No. Finbryn is a bookkeeping and accounting preparation service. Where a lodgement is needed, we hand reconciled figures to the practitioner your business has appointed.

Is Finbryn a bookkeeping firm, an accounting firm, or something else?
Finbryn provides bookkeeping and tax preparation support. Work that legally requires a registered agent, such as lodging a BAS or tax return, is completed by a TPB-registered agent under a documented supervision arrangement.
How is the team structured for an Australian engagement?
Each client is assigned a named pod, with a senior principal reviewing the work before it reaches you, and a documented handover if pod membership ever changes.
