Hong Kong edition
Capacity for your practice, under your name.
Dedicated bookkeepers for Hong Kong accounting practices, working inside your software and your review process, ahead of your clients' statutory audits.
Finbryn staffs Hong Kong accounting practices with dedicated outsourced bookkeepers, billed directly to your firm rather than sold to your clients. Your team keeps review, client relationships and the statutory audit sign-off; ours handles bookkeeping and reconciliation inside your own Xero or QuickBooks Online setup, with a named pod for each engagement. Terms are set out in your engagement letter.
What Hong Kong firms use us for
Capacity, not a competing brand
Nothing we produce carries the Finbryn name to your clients. Work is prepared inside your practice's own stack and reviewed by your team before it goes out.
Audit-season and profits tax capacity
Extra hands during the run up to BIR51 filings and statutory audit fieldwork, or a dedicated resource to bring a backlog of client files to a reconciled trial balance.
Named pod, recorded handover
Each engagement gets a named pod. If staffing ever changes, a recorded handover memo goes to your team so nothing is lost in the transition.
Priced by seniority, not by client
You pay for a dedicated outsourced team member, from bookkeeper through senior accountant, not a per-client markup on top of your own fees.
Questions
Questions Hong Kong firms ask first
Will your clients know the work is outsourced?
That is your call. We work inside your practice, under your instructions, and nothing sent to clients carries our name unless you want it to.
Can you prepare files ahead of a statutory audit?
Yes. We reconcile and organise books so your team, and the Hong Kong-registered auditor you work with, spend less time reconstructing the year before fieldwork starts.
What software do you work in?
Yours. We work inside the Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books setup your practice already runs, rather than a separate platform.
Is there a setup fee?
Terms, including any setup fee, are set out in your engagement letter.
Can we trial the arrangement on one client file before committing more broadly?
Yes. Starting with a single file, or a small pilot batch, is a common way for a Hong Kong practice to see the standard of work before deciding whether to move more client files across.
Do you sign anything on our clients' behalf?
No. Every audit sign-off, BIR51 lodgement and client-facing decision stays with your practice's own partners; we prepare the file and the workpapers that support what your practice ultimately reviews, approves and signs.
