About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Northlane Solutions Inc. trading as Finbryn. They are not the contract for our accounting services. Once you engage us as a client, a separate written engagement letter sets out the scope, fees and terms of that work, and the engagement letter controls whenever it conflicts with anything on this site.

This site is general information

Articles, calculators, checklists and other content on this site are general information about bookkeeping, tax-preparation support and related topics. None of it is advice for your specific business, and reading it does not create an advisory or other professional relationship between you and Northlane Solutions Inc.. Start an engagement before you rely on anything here for a real decision.

What we offer, and what we do not

Finbryn prepares books, records and supporting schedules. Where a filing, lodgement or signature needs a credentialed signer or a registered local partner, our engagement letter names who fills that role: senior principal review happens on our side, and the credentialed signer or partner handles the filing itself. Nothing on this site should be read as offering statutory audit services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to submit false information, try to reach data that is not yours, or interfere with how the site operates. We can suspend access for anyone who does.

Links to other sites

This site links to official government and software-provider pages for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say.

No warranty, limited liability

This site and its content are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Northlane Solutions Inc. is not liable for decisions made solely on general content on this site, as distinct from work delivered under a signed engagement letter.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your engagement letter says otherwise.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The version posted here is always the current one.
