About this policy

For visitors and clients in Canada, Northlane Solutions Inc., trading as Finbryn, is the organization responsible for personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Contact privacy@finbryn.com for anything about how your information is handled.

Information we collect

When you complete a contact form, request a call, or use a calculator on this site, we collect what you provide directly, usually your name, business email, phone number, company and message. We use it to reply, prepare a proposal, and, once engaged, deliver the bookkeeping and preparation-support work itself.

Who processes it on our behalf

Running the site involves a small set of service providers acting under our instructions: Vercel hosts it, Supabase stores form submissions, Resend sends confirmation email, Cloudflare handles domain resolution and screens out automated form submissions, and Cal.com or Calendly runs the booking calendar, appearing only after you click through to book. Vercel Analytics reports visit counts without a cookie, and an internal Telegram message notifies our team of a new form submission, carrying no personal information.

Processing outside Canada

Our delivery team, who carry out the accounting and bookkeeping itself, works from Pakistan. PIPEDA does not prohibit sending personal information outside Canada for processing and does not require your separate consent for a transfer of this kind, but it does make us accountable for making sure that team gives your information comparable protection. We do this through a written processing agreement with our Pakistan delivery team, and we are telling you about it here as PIPEDA expects.

Retention

We keep enquiry and client information for as long as the relationship continues and for a further period needed for our own accounting and legal records, then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, by writing to privacy@finbryn.com. If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you can raise a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
