NetSuite implementation support
NetSuite shows up in UK companies once they run several entities, a subsidiary structure, or reporting under UK-adopted IFRS rather than FRS 102. Finbryn supports the accounting side of a NetSuite implementation or an existing instance: chart of accounts, intercompany reconciliations and the reporting a UK finance team needs.

Where NetSuite fits in a UK group structure
A UK holding company with overseas subsidiaries, or a fast-growing company that has outgrown Xero's reporting depth, tends to be the point where NetSuite gets considered. The accounting decisions inside that move matter more than the software itself: how intercompany balances eliminate on consolidation, whether the group reports under FRS 102 or has adopted UK-adopted IFRS, and how the chart of accounts maps to both statutory and management reporting needs.
What we support
We review the chart of accounts and subsidiary or segment structure against what the UK entity needs for its statutory accounts and against group reporting needs, build saved searches and reports for month-end close, and run the bank and intercompany reconciliations each period. Where a UK company sits inside a wider implementation led by a systems integrator, we work alongside that team on the accounting configuration rather than duplicating it.
Cleanup inside an existing instance
Most engagements start inside an instance that already exists, cleaning up a chart of accounts that has drifted from how the group actually reports, or fixing intercompany balances that were never fully eliminated. That work runs alongside the ongoing bookkeeping and close cycle once it stabilises.
Statutory accounts and Companies House
A UK subsidiary running on NetSuite still files its own accounts at Companies House on the normal UK timetable regardless of the group's reporting platform, so the local chart of accounts needs to support that filing as well as group consolidation, which is a design choice we flag early rather than after the first year-end.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: NetSuite implementation support
Do you implement NetSuite from scratch for a UK company?
We support the accounting side of an implementation, chart of accounts, reconciliations and reporting, working alongside your implementation partner or in-house team rather than running the technical build.
Can NetSuite handle FRS 102 and UK-adopted IFRS reporting for the same group?
Yes, with the reporting book and chart of accounts structured to support both, which is part of what we review before ongoing bookkeeping starts.
What happens to the UK subsidiary's own statutory accounts once the group runs on NetSuite?
The UK entity still files its own accounts at Companies House on the normal timetable; we design the chart of accounts so local and group reporting both come out of the same data.
Do you handle the chart of accounts mapping for a NetSuite implementation?
Yes, mapping your existing chart of accounts to NetSuite's structure, including any subsidiary or segment setup, is part of the implementation support, and we flag any account that does not have a clean equivalent so a decision is made deliberately rather than by default.
Can you support a phased NetSuite rollout across multiple entities?
Yes, entities can go live in stages rather than all at once, which reduces risk on a complex multi-entity implementation. We sequence the rollout with you based on which entity's data is cleanest and which has the tightest reporting deadline driving the timeline.
Do you build the NetSuite implementation itself?
We support the accounting side of an implementation, chart of accounts, reconciliations and reporting, alongside your implementation partner or in-house team.
Can you work inside an existing NetSuite instance without a full re-implementation?
Yes. Most engagements start with cleanup and reconciliation inside the instance that already exists.
What software works with netSuite implementation support?
NetSuite implementation support runs inside NetSuite or QuickBooks Online, whichever you already use. If you are not yet set up in either, we can configure a file in your name so you keep ownership of it once the engagement is under way.
How do we get started with netSuite implementation support?
Getting started with netSuite implementation support begins with a short review of your current records and software access. Once that is done we confirm scope and timing in writing, and ongoing work begins on the schedule agreed with you.
