UK edition
Extra hands for your practice, not a rival brand.
A dedicated outsourced bookkeeper or accountant, working inside your firm's own client files and your own review process.
Finbryn places dedicated outsourced bookkeepers and accountants inside UK accountancy practices, billed to the firm rather than to its clients. Your practice keeps compliance responsibility, client relationships and final sign-off; our team works inside your own Xero or QuickBooks files, under your instructions, with a named pod for each engagement.
Why practices bring us in
Your name stays on the work
Nothing we prepare carries the Finbryn name to your clients. It sits inside your practice management system, reviewed by your own staff before it goes anywhere.
One named team, a recorded handover
Each engagement is staffed by a named person or small pod. If that changes, your firm gets a written handover note before the change takes effect, not after.
Built for busy-season pressure
Extra bookkeeping capacity through Self Assessment season or Companies House filing deadlines, without hiring for a peak that passes.
Priced by role, not by client count
You pay for a dedicated outsourced team member at a given level of seniority, not a fee that scales with how many of your clients they touch.
Questions
What UK practices ask first
Do you have to tell your clients this is outsourced?
That decision stays with your firm. We work under your instructions and nothing we produce is labelled with our name unless you choose to.
Who stays responsible for AML and other compliance obligations?
Your practice does. We provide bookkeeping capacity; the regulatory responsibilities that sit with a UK accountancy practice, including AML supervision, remain yours throughout.
Is there a setup cost to bring on a dedicated bookkeeper?
No separate setup cost. Pricing and any onboarding scope are set out in your engagement letter, based on the role and seniority level you need.
What happens if the person assigned to us leaves?
You receive a written handover memo covering what they were working on and what your new contact needs to know, sent ahead of the change.
How does billing work for a dedicated pod compared with overflow project work?
A dedicated pod is billed on an ongoing basis for standing capacity, while an overflow project is quoted for a defined piece of work with its own end point. Most practices start with whichever matches their immediate need and can move to the other arrangement as their workload settles.
What happens if our practice needs to pause capacity for a quiet period?
Pausing or scaling down capacity is possible with notice, since workload for an accounting practice is rarely flat across the year. The notice period and any transition arrangement are set out in your engagement letter rather than left to be worked out informally when the need arises.
