For accounting firms
Review support
Review support gives UAE practices a second pass on files their own staff already prepared: trial balances tied to workpapers, reconciliations checked for open variances and a written list of questions, delivered before a file reaches the partner or the tax agent who will file it.

Where the bottleneck actually sits
Most UAE practices have one genuinely scarce resource: the partner or senior reviewer whose sign-off has to happen before anything goes to a client or to the Federal Tax Authority. Review support sits one step earlier, catching a trial balance that will not tie, a stale reconciling item or a missing document before that person ever opens the file.
What actually gets checked
Every workpaper gets tied back to the trial balance line it supports, every reconciliation gets confirmed closed with nothing left open from a prior period, and the file gets checked against whatever standard your practice already runs, whether that is inside Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, Xero or Odoo. Anything that does not tie, or any document that is missing, lands on a written list handed back to your team rather than raised as a verbal comment in a meeting.
Paced to your filing calendar, not ours
The UAE does not run one single national deadline the way some jurisdictions do; a Corporate Tax return is due nine months after each entity's own tax period ends, and free zone renewals fall on their own separate dates. Your practice sets the turnaround it needs, tighter in the weeks before a client's filing deadline and looser the rest of the year, and we work to that rhythm rather than imposing a fixed one of our own.
What this does not touch
This is a check on arithmetic and completeness, not a second opinion on judgement calls, and it is never a statutory audit, which stays with a UAE-licensed audit firm your client appoints separately. Whatever sign-off a client ultimately sees still comes from your own reviewer.
Stacking with other capacity
Practices running review support through a busy filing period often add white-label bookkeeping capacity the rest of the year, so a file is held to the same standard regardless of what is driving the volume that month.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: Review support
Does review support replace our own partner sign-off?
No. It runs before that sign-off, catching ties and open items so the final review goes faster, not instead of it.
Can you follow our practice's own review checklist?
Yes. We work to whatever checklist your practice already applies rather than substituting our own.
Is this an audit service?
No. Audit stays out of scope everywhere. This is a documented review pass on files your own staff already prepared; where a licence requires an independent audit, that stays a separate engagement with a licensed auditor.
Can review support fit around a Corporate Tax filing deadline?
Yes. Turnaround windows are agreed to your calendar, and most practices tighten them in the weeks before a client's own filing deadline.
Does this replace our partner's sign-off?
No. We check the file ahead of partner review; your partner remains the one who signs off.
Can you follow our own review checklist?
Yes. We work to whatever checklist or standard your firm already applies to file review.
What if our records for review support are not up to date?
If your records are behind, we scope a catch-up first so review support starts from a clean, reconciled base. That catch-up is priced and timed separately from the ongoing engagement, so you always know what each part costs.
Who reviews the work before it reaches us?
Every deliverable under review support is reviewed by a senior reviewer before it reaches you. You keep access to the underlying file at every stage, so nothing about the work happens somewhere you cannot see it.
