Who controls your data, and how to reach us

Northlane Solutions Inc., trading as Finbryn, acts as controller of personal data collected through this UAE edition of the site, for the purposes of Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the PDPL). The data a form or calculator actually collects

Filling in a contact form, requesting a call, or running a calculator on this site hands us exactly what you typed: name, work email, phone number, company and message. That data gets used either because taking a step toward a contract with you, preparing a scope, building a quote, requires it, or because running a bookkeeping business gives us a legitimate interest that we weigh against your rights before relying on it. Nothing collected here gets used beyond replying to you and delivering whatever work you actually asked for.

The processors involved in running this site

A short list of processors act strictly on our instructions: Vercel hosts the site, Supabase stores submitted form data in its configured region, Resend sends confirmation emails, Cloudflare handles domain resolution and bot filtering, and Cal.com or Calendly loads a booking calendar only once you actually click through to book. A Telegram alert notifies our own team internally when a form arrives, carrying no personal data of yours inside it.

Where the actual bookkeeping work happens

Delivery of the bookkeeping and preparation-support work sits with our team in Pakistan, operating under Northlane Solutions Inc.'s contract and direct instructions. Before any UAE client's data reaches that team, contractual data protection terms are already in place with our own staff, covering confidentiality, access limits and use restricted strictly to the engagement you signed, consistent with what the PDPL expects of a controller moving data across a border.

Retention

Enquiry and client data stays on file for as long as the relationship runs, plus a further period afterward to satisfy our own accounting and record-keeping obligations, after which it gets deleted or anonymised.

What the PDPL gives you the right to ask for

You can ask what specific data we hold about you, ask for a correction, object to a particular use of it, or in some cases ask us to stop processing it or hand you a copy. Send any of these requests to privacy@finbryn.com and expect a response within a reasonable timeframe consistent with the PDPL. Where our answer does not satisfy you, the matter can be raised with the UAE Data Office, the federal authority responsible for personal data protection.
