For accounting firms
Review support
Review support gives a Saudi business or accounting practice a second pass on files their own staff already prepared: trial balances tied to workpapers, every reconciliation checked for stale open items, and a written list of exceptions handed back before the file reaches whoever signs off.

Where the arithmetic error actually gets expensive
A Saudi practice or finance team usually has one scarce resource: the reviewer or partner who has to sign off before anything reaches ZATCA or a client. Review support absorbs the arithmetic layer before that person ever opens the file, catching a trial balance that will not tie, a stale reconciling item, or a missing supporting document while it is still cheap to fix.
The specific checks we run
Every workpaper gets tied back to the trial balance line it supports, every reconciliation gets confirmed closed with nothing sitting open from a prior period, and the file gets checked against whatever standard your own practice already runs, in Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, Odoo or SAP Business One. An item that does not tie, or a document that is missing, lands on a written list handed back for your team to close, not buried in a verbal comment during a meeting.
Timed to your own busy season, not a fixed calendar
Saudi Arabia does not run one universal filing date the way a calendar-year deadline does elsewhere. A practice sets its own turnaround expectation, tighter in the weeks ahead of the 120-day Zakat and corporate tax window or a VAT quarter close, and looser the rest of the year, and we work to that rhythm rather than imposing one of our own.
The one line we do not cross
This is a check on arithmetic and completeness, not a second opinion on judgement calls, and it is never statutory audit, which a SOCPA-licensed auditor alone can perform. Whatever sign-off a client ultimately sees still comes from your own reviewer, not from us.
Stacking with other capacity
A practice running review support through the busy season often adds busy season tax prep support at the same time, and falls back to white-label bookkeeping capacity once the deadline clears, so the standard a file is held to does not shift with the season.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: Review support
Does review support replace our own partner sign-off?
No. It runs before that sign-off, clearing the arithmetic and completeness checks so the final review is faster, never a substitute for it.
Is this the same as an audit?
No. Audit stays out of scope everywhere we work. This is a documented check on files your own staff already prepared.
Can turnaround speed up ahead of the Zakat and tax deadline?
Yes, most practices tighten the agreed turnaround in the weeks before the 120-day filing window and relax it once the deadline clears.
Do you follow our own review checklist or a generic one?
Whatever checklist your practice already applies. We work to your standard rather than substituting a different one.
Does this replace our partner's sign-off?
No. We check the file ahead of partner review; your partner remains the one who signs off.
Can you follow our own review checklist?
Yes. We work to whatever checklist or standard your firm already applies to file review.
What if our records for review support are not up to date?
If your records are behind, we scope a catch-up first so review support starts from a clean, reconciled base. That catch-up is priced and timed separately from the ongoing engagement, so you always know what each part costs.
Who reviews the work before it reaches us?
Every deliverable under review support is reviewed by a senior reviewer before it reaches you. You keep access to the underlying file at every stage, so nothing about the work happens somewhere you cannot see it.
