Sage Intacct support
Finbryn supports Sage and Sage Intacct instances for EU businesses that report across more than one entity or member state: dimension structure, multi-entity consolidation and the reconciliations that keep a group close on schedule. We work inside the instance a business already licenses, aligning it to IFRS for SMEs or the relevant local GAAP.

Multi-entity is the normal case in the EU, not the exception
A business trading across two or three member states almost always ends up with more than one legal entity, and Sage or Sage Intacct is usually where that structure lives once spreadsheets stop working. The hard part is rarely the software itself. It is getting intercompany balances, currency translation and country-level VAT to close together instead of one entity finishing while another is still being chased for a bank statement.
What we work on inside your instance
- Dimension structure reviewed against how the group actually reports, by entity, country or business line
- Multi-entity consolidation set up and reconciled, with intercompany balances eliminated rather than left sitting on the group balance sheet
- Bank, card and intercompany reconciliations performed every period, not caught up in a rush before year end
- Recurring journal entries and allocations configured for costs shared across entities
- Custom reports built for the metrics a founder or a board actually reads, in euros with each entity's local currency visible underneath
What we do not do
You own and license the Sage or Sage Intacct platform yourself. We work inside the instance that already exists rather than selling or reselling the software, and we do not touch the parts of an implementation that belong to your Sage partner.
Alignment with EU reporting standards
Consolidated numbers get aligned to IFRS for SMEs or to the local GAAP that applies in your lead entity's member state, so the group reporting you show investors or a bank and the statutory accounts a local partner files from the same base do not quietly diverge over time.
Where a credentialed partner takes over
Certifying statutory accounts for any individual entity, or filing VAT and OSS returns that draw on this consolidation, stays with a credentialed local partner, such as a French expert-comptable or a German Steuerberater in the entities where those reserved activities apply. Our role stops at handing over a reconciled, consolidated set of numbers.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: Sage Intacct support
Do we need our own Sage or Sage Intacct licence?
Yes. You own and licence the platform. We work inside the instance you already have.
Can you support a group with entities in different member states?
Yes, including intercompany eliminations and entity-level reconciliations rolled into one consolidated set of numbers.
Which reporting standard do the consolidated numbers follow?
We align them to IFRS for SMEs or to the local GAAP your lead entity's member state applies, so group reporting and statutory accounts do not drift apart.
Who certifies the statutory accounts for each entity?
A credentialed local partner, such as a French expert-comptable or a German Steuerberater, certifies statutory accounts where that is a reserved activity. We hand over the reconciled numbers they certify from.
Do you help configure Sage Intacct's multi-entity structure for our group?
Yes, we set up the entity structure, dimensions and consolidation rules to match how your group actually reports, rather than leaving you to configure Sage Intacct's more complex multi-entity settings without support. This is confirmed with you before the configuration actually goes live on your data.
Can you support a multi-entity Sage Intacct consolidation?
Yes, including intercompany eliminations and entity-level reconciliations rolled into one consolidated set of reports.
Do we need our own Sage Intacct license?
Yes, you own and license the platform. We work inside your instance.
How do we get started with sage Intacct support?
Getting started with sage Intacct support begins with a short review of your current records and software access. Once that is done we confirm scope and timing in writing, and ongoing work begins on the schedule agreed with you.
What if our records for sage Intacct support are not up to date?
If your records are behind, we scope a catch-up first so sage Intacct support starts from a clean, reconciled base. That catch-up is priced and timed separately from the ongoing engagement, so you always know what each part costs.
