EU edition
A close built around your working day.
Bank feeds are picked up between your business days, reconciliation follows, and questions reach a named contact directly.
Questions raised during the EU business day go to a named contact. Each close covers coding, reconciliation, review by a senior reviewer, and a report split by entity and, where relevant, by country of sale.
The process
The monthly cycle
Feeds land
Bank, card and payment-processor data is picked up between business days, so the queue is already moving by the time you check in.
Coding and reconciliation
Transactions are coded against your chart of accounts and matched to statements, with anything unclear flagged rather than guessed.
Country-of-sale split
For businesses selling under the OSS or IOSS schemes, sales are tagged by destination country so the underlying figures are already organised the way your VAT return needs them.
Senior principal review
A senior reviewer checks the month's work before it is called final, on every file, every month.
Report and handover
You receive a profit and loss, balance sheet and open-items list, plus anything your accountant or VAT partner would want flagged before their own deadline.
Questions
Questions about the process
Where is the work done?
The bookkeeping and preparation work is done by our accounting team in Pakistan, under a contract with Northlane Solutions Inc. in the United States, with a senior reviewer reviewing every month's work before it reaches you. Your data is handled under the safeguards set out in our privacy policy and security page, and your file stays in your own QuickBooks Online, Xero or Sage account.
Do you talk directly to our external accountant?
Yes, if you want us to. We send reconciled figures straight to your accountant or registered local filing partner ahead of their filing deadlines.
What happens with VAT under the reforms coming through the EU?
We track the VAT in the Digital Age timeline, including the digital reporting and e-invoicing rules due from 1 July 2030, and flag anything that changes what we need from your systems.
How fast do you answer a question during the month?
A named contact replies directly, whichever contact channel you use.
What do we need to hand over before the first monthly cycle starts?
Read access to your accounting software, bank and payment-processor feeds, and the prior period's VAT or OSS filings if any exist. A named pod reviews what is already there before the first close, so the first month is a check of your existing setup, not a blind start.
What happens if a document we owe you is late?
The close for that entity moves to the next available slot rather than being pushed through with gaps. We flag the missing item as soon as it is due and again before the close date, so a late document is caught early rather than discovered at month end.
