Capacity for firms, white-labeled
For accounting and tax firms
Finbryn adds back-office capacity for EU accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms: white-label bookkeeping, VAT filing-season prep support, dedicated staff pods, overflow cleanup projects, review support and capacity planning. Every deliverable carries your firm's branding, every file gets senior principal review, and VAT or local statutory filings still route through your firm's own licensed local adviser.

Capacity across 27 member states
A firm serving clients across the European Union runs into a different capacity problem than a single-country practice: VAT rules, local GAAP formats and statutory-accounts deadlines change at every border, even while IFRS for SMEs gives some common ground between them. Finbryn adds back-office capacity behind your firm without a new hire in each member state. Our accounting team works inside the practice tools your firm already runs, most often Xero, QuickBooks Online, Exact or SAP Business One, and every file gets senior principal review before it reaches your own reviewing staff.
What moves, and what stays local
Production work moves: categorising transactions, reconciling accounts, building draft VAT workpapers under the One Stop Shop (OSS) or Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) schemes, and preparing local-GAAP or IFRS-for-SMEs financial statements for your review. What stays with your firm, or with the licensed local partner your firm already retains, is anything a member state reserves to a credentialed professional. A French expert-comptable, a German Steuerberater or the equivalent body elsewhere signs and files VAT returns and local statutory accounts; our team prepares the file, your firm's licensed adviser files it.
Where the work happens
Northlane Solutions Inc. is the company your firm contracts with. Every file gets senior principal review before it reaches your own reviewing staff.
Where firms typically start
Most EU firms begin with white-label bookkeeping for a segment of monthly clients, add a dedicated staff pod once volume is steady, or route a backlog through overflow cleanup projects before deciding on a fuller rollout through capacity planning. See pricing for how capacity is quoted.
All services
For accounting and tax firms: every service
- White-label bookkeepingMonthly bookkeeping produced under your firm's own name and templates, so your clients see your brand while our team handles sorting transactions into categories, reconciling and reporting behind it.
- Busy season tax prep supportPreparation-support capacity for firms during filing season: source documents put in order, workpapers built and draft returns assembled for your credentialed preparers to review and sign.
- Dedicated staff podsA named, fixed group of accountants assigned to your firm alone, working your files on your schedule, rather than a rotating pool shared across other engagements.
- Overflow cleanup projectsFixed-scope cleanup and catch-up projects your firm can hand off when a client's books are too far behind for your own staff to absorb without disrupting other work.
- Review supportA second set of eyes on files your firm has already prepared, checking ties, disclosures and workpaper completeness before they reach your partner for sign-off.
- Outsourced capacity planningPlanning work for firms deciding how much bookkeeping and prep capacity to hand to an outsourced pod, including pilot scoping, staffing ramp and handoff design before any files move.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: For accounting and tax firms
Do you sign or file VAT returns for our EU clients?
No. Our team builds the draft VAT workpapers, including OSS and IOSS returns, but a licensed local adviser, such as your firm's own expert-comptable or Steuerberater, reviews and files each return.
Can you work across several member states for the same client group?
Yes. We keep books to a standard that supports both local-GAAP reporting in each member state and a group view under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs, with intercompany balances tracked separately.
Does our own name ever appear on the work?
No. Every deliverable carries your firm's branding, and your review staff are the only ones your client ever sees.
Which practice software do you already work in?
Xero, QuickBooks Online, Exact, Sage and SAP Business One are common across EU firms; we work inside whichever one your firm already runs.
Can we pilot before moving a full client book to this capacity?
Yes. Capacity planning starts with a scoped pilot on a small set of files before any full rollout decision.
What is out of scope for outsourced capacity work?
We do not sign or file on behalf of your firm, and we do not take on your client relationship. The work stops at the preparation and reconciliation your reviewer needs, with your own sign-off and client contact staying entirely with your practice throughout.
What practice software do you need access to?
Whatever your firm already runs, typically Xero, QuickBooks Online, Exact or SAP Business One alongside your practice-management tool. We work inside your existing stack rather than asking a firm to adopt new software before this capacity can plug into a client file.
How is pricing structured for outsourced capacity?
Pricing scales with client file volume and complexity rather than a flat retainer regardless of workload, and a pilot batch is priced before a firm commits to moving a full book across. The rate and terms are set out in the engagement letter.
