KPI dashboards
A small set of KPIs, agreed with you and updated every month, so a UAE business tracks the numbers that actually run it, whether that is margin, cash runway, occupancy or churn, instead of waiting for a year-end figure to confirm what was already happening.

Reviewer's note
Software is up on last month after two seats were added mid-month. Revenue includes one milestone invoice that will not repeat next month.
Illustrative. An example of the document, not a client's figures.
Five numbers beat twenty nobody checks
A dashboard tracking twenty metrics nobody actually opens is worse than one tracking five that get checked every month. We start by agreeing which handful of numbers genuinely runs the business, whether that is gross margin, cash runway, utilisation, customer concentration or an industry-specific figure like occupancy or repeat-order rate, and leave the rest for a deeper report if it is ever needed.
A live view between annual filings
A Corporate Tax return looks backward once a year, nine months after the tax period closes. A KPI dashboard tells a founder whether this month is on or off track long before that figure ever lands, and it is often the first thing a bank or an investor asks to see before a facility or a term sheet moves forward.
Free zone and mainland tracked on their own lines
Where a Qualifying Free Zone Person's income needs to stay visibly separate from mainland-sourced revenue to protect its 0% rate, that split gets its own line on the dashboard rather than sitting buried inside one blended revenue figure that has to be unpicked later.
Sitting inside the tools you already run
The dashboard usually lives as a connected view inside Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online or Xero, or a lightweight spreadsheet pulling from them, so nothing new needs logging into and nothing stops working if a separate subscription lapses.
Reviewed before it lands
A senior reviewer checks the figures and the commentary against the closed ledger each month before the dashboard goes out, and the metric list itself gets revisited periodically as the business changes rather than left frozen from the day it was first agreed.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: KPI dashboards
Do we have to build the dashboard in a new tool?
No. Most dashboards live in a spreadsheet or a reporting add-on connected to your existing Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online or Xero file.
Can a KPI depend on data outside our accounting system?
Yes. Where a metric depends on an operating figure like footfall or occupancy, we build a simple manual update into month end.
How often is the dashboard refreshed?
Most dashboards refresh monthly alongside the close, since that is when the underlying figures are final.
Do you build the dashboard in a new tool I have to learn?
No. Most dashboards live in a spreadsheet or a reporting add-on connected to your existing accounting software, so there is nothing new to log into.
How many KPIs should we actually track?
Most businesses get more value from five to eight metrics tracked consistently than twenty tracked occasionally.
What software works with kPI dashboards?
KPI dashboards runs inside Google Sheets or Excel, whichever you already use. If you are not yet set up in either, we can configure a file in your name so you keep ownership of it once the engagement is under way.
How do we get started with kPI dashboards?
Getting started with kPI dashboards begins with a short review of your current records and software access. Once that is done we confirm scope and timing in writing, and ongoing work begins on the schedule agreed with you.
