Who we are

Northlane Solutions Inc., trading as Finbryn, operates this website and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@finbryn.com for any privacy question, or by phone at +1 (224) 593-2454.

What we collect

We collect what you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, company name and any message you send through a contact form, a booking request or an application to work with us. If you use a calculator or a checklist tool on this site, we collect the figures you type into it. Our web host and analytics service also record basic technical data, such as browser type and the general location suggested by your IP address, without that channel collecting your name or email.

How we use it

We use this information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, schedule a call, deliver the bookkeeping or preparation-support work you asked for, and keep the site running properly. We do not sell personal data, and we do not build an advertising profile from it.

Who processes data on our behalf

A short list of outside companies help us run this site and our services, each acting on our written instructions and none of them free to use your data for their own purposes.

• Vercel hosts the website itself, in the United States.
• Supabase stores the details you submit through a form, in whichever region we have configured for that service.
• Resend sends transactional email on our behalf, such as confirming that your enquiry arrived.
• Cloudflare handles domain name resolution and a challenge that keeps automated submissions off our forms.
• Cal.com or Calendly runs the booking calendar, and loads only once you click through to book a call.
• Telegram carries an internal alert to our team the moment a form is submitted. That alert never contains your personal data.
• Vercel Analytics measures traffic to the site without placing a cookie on your device.

Where the work happens

The bookkeeping and tax-preparation-support work you engage us for is carried out by our team in Pakistan, under a contract with Northlane Solutions Inc. in the United States. Where sending your data to that team crosses a border with its own transfer requirements, we put a written data-processing agreement in place with our Pakistan delivery team first.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies for its own operation. The full list, what each one does and how long it lasts is on our cookie policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and account data for as long as you are a prospective or current client, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our own record-keeping and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete anything we hold that we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to privacy@finbryn.com. We reply to a genuine request within a reasonable time and may need to verify who you are first.

US privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights under a law such as the California Consumer Privacy Act to know, delete or correct personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of. Where our work touches a client's own financial information, we are building our information security program to the FTC Safeguards Rule, and no US tax data reaches our team until it is adopted.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our processors change. The version posted here is always the current one.
