Capacity for firms, white-labeled
For accounting and tax firms
Finbryn gives US accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms extra capacity: white-label bookkeeping, busy-season prep support, dedicated staff pods, overflow cleanup projects, review support and capacity planning. Every deliverable can carry your firm's branding, every file stays reviewed on your side, and every filing is signed by your own credentialed preparer, never by us.

Capacity for firms, not a replacement for your review
Most US accounting and tax firms hit the same wall around the same time each year: client volume grows faster than headcount, and busy season turns every open role into a bottleneck. Finbryn adds back-office capacity without adding payroll, benefits or a lease. Our accounting team works inside your existing tools, your chart-of-accounts standard and your review process, and every file is reviewed by our senior staff before it reaches yours.
What moves and what does not
What moves to us is the production work: categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, tying trial balances, organizing source documents, and building draft workpapers. What stays with your firm is everything that requires a license: reviewing and signing tax returns, advising clients on their own tax positions, and owning the client relationship. A credentialed preparer at your firm signs every return we help build the workpapers for. We describe this as preparation support because that is what it is, and Section 7216 written consent is collected before any client tax data reaches our team.
Six ways firms use us
Some firms start with white-label bookkeeping for a block of write-up clients. Others need busy-season tax prep support for the eight weeks around March and April deadlines, or a dedicated staff pod that grows with a specific book of business. Firms cleaning up an acquired client base use overflow cleanup projects. Some just want a second set of eyes before partner sign-off, which is review support. And firms still deciding whether outside capacity fits their practice start with capacity planning, a scoped pilot before any client file moves.
Reviewed before it reaches you
Northlane Solutions Inc. is the US company you contract with. Files started at the end of your workday are often reconciled before your staff logs back in the next morning. See pricing for how capacity is quoted.

Questions
Frequently asked questions: For accounting and tax firms
Can I white label your bookkeeping team for my accounting firm?
Yes. Deliverables use your firm's templates and branding, and nothing on the client-facing side identifies our team unless you choose to disclose it.
Do you sign or file tax returns for your clients?
No. Our team prepares source documents and draft workpapers. A credentialed preparer at your firm reviews and signs every return.
How fast can you add capacity before a filing deadline?
Most firms bring on busy-season support a few weeks ahead of a deadline. Exact ramp time depends on the file volume and how quickly access to your practice-management tools can be set up.
What happens to client data once it reaches your team?
Access is granted through the same practice-management and accounting software you already use, scoped to the files assigned, and can be revoked by your firm at any time.
Is this cheaper than hiring another staff accountant?
Usually, because there is no payroll tax, benefits or recruiting cost on your side, and capacity can scale down after busy season rather than sitting idle.
What is not included when we staff up through Finbryn?
The team codes, reconciles and drafts workpapers to your firm's standard; it does not sign, file or take professional responsibility for any return or financial statement. That stays with your licensed staff, and every deliverable is built to move into your own review process, not around it.
What software does your team need access to for our firm's client files?
Access to the client's accounting file, whichever platform your firm standardizes on, plus your practice-management tool such as Karbon or Canopy so status is visible without a separate check-in. Access is scoped per client file and removed when a file rolls off.
What happens if a pod member assigned to our firm changes?
A recorded handover memo is prepared covering every open file, its status and any outstanding question, before the change takes effect, and a new pod member is introduced to your reviewing staff before picking up live work.
