Board packs
Finbryn prepares board packs for EU companies from the same closed books used for monthly reporting: a financial summary, a KPI page against targets, cash runway where relevant and a one-page narrative on risks and decisions, delivered ahead of your meeting on a schedule you set.

Reviewer's note
Software is up on last month after two seats were added mid-month. Revenue includes one milestone invoice that will not repeat next month.

The problem with most board packs at multi-country groups
A board overseeing entities in several member states usually gets one of two things: a pile of country-by-country exports nobody has time to read, or a single blended number that hides which market is actually driving the result. We build the third option: a consolidated summary on the first page, with entity detail sitting in an appendix for whoever on the board wants to ask about a specific country.
What goes into it
A financial summary in board format rather than a software export, a KPI page tracked against target, and for a funded business a cash runway view. Ahead of all of it, a single page names the two or three decisions actually on the table this month, because a board pack that opens with forty pages of numbers buries the point it exists to make.
Built once the close is done, not before
The pack draws directly on that month's closed entities, so nothing in it can contradict a figure a finance lead quotes verbally in the same meeting. Where entities run different local GAAP frameworks, we present the group view on a consistent basis and flag anywhere the underlying local treatment differs, so a board member is never surprised by a note in a local statutory account that never appeared here.
Delivered on your calendar, in your format
We agree a delivery date well ahead of the meeting date, not the day before, and build to whatever template your board or your investors already expect rather than asking them to adapt to ours.
Where the numbers come from
The group figures in a board pack come from consolidation work across your entities, and the KPI page draws on your KPI dashboard.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: Board packs
Can you match our board pack to a template our investors already use?
Yes. We build to a template you provide or to the standard format your investors have asked for in the past.
How much lead time do you need before a board meeting?
We agree a delivery date during onboarding, typically several business days ahead of the meeting, so there is time to review before it goes out.
Do you present the pack at the board meeting?
We prepare the pack; presenting it is typically done by the founder or finance lead, though we can join a call beforehand to walk through the numbers.
Do you write the narrative commentary, or just assemble the numbers?
We draft the first pass of narrative commentary against the numbers, which you then review and adjust before it goes to the board, rather than leaving a blank template for you to fill in yourself.
Can the pack include figures from an entity that closes on a different calendar?
Yes, that entity's most recent close is used and flagged with its as-of date, so the pack is clear about which period each entity's figures actually cover rather than implying false alignment. We flag the mismatch clearly rather than let the board assume false alignment.
How far ahead of the board meeting is the pack ready?
The pack is built to a schedule you set, typically several days ahead of the meeting so there is time to review it first.
Can the pack match a template our board already uses?
Yes. We work from a template you provide or from the format your investors expect.
How do we get started with board packs?
Getting started with board packs begins with a short review of your current records and software access. Once that is done we confirm scope and timing in writing, and ongoing work begins on the schedule agreed with you.
What if our records for board packs are not up to date?
If your records are behind, we scope a catch-up first so board packs starts from a clean, reconciled base. That catch-up is priced and timed separately from the ongoing engagement, so you always know what each part costs.
