Short answer

Overdue UAE customer invoices are followed up on a set cadence, in your own voice, through Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books, with every reminder and call logged so slow payers get consistent attention and you always know where each account stands.

Reminders that sound like you, not a collections desk

A cadence gets agreed for invoices nearing and past their due date: a light nudge before the date, a firmer note shortly after, then a direct message if the balance is still open. Every one of those goes out from your own business address in wording you have approved, run through Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books rather than a bolted-on collections app with its own branding.

A customer base that is rarely just Dubai

A UAE company selling into Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar or further across the Gulf deals with different payment habits and preferred channels in each market. Some customers respond fastest to email, others to a WhatsApp message referencing the invoice number directly. We keep the wording and the channel flexible per customer rather than forcing every account through one fixed script.

The trail that makes a dispute simple later

Every email, call and WhatsApp exchange gets logged straight against the invoice, with whatever the customer said in response, so nobody has to reconstruct who chased what from a scattered inbox weeks later. A short weekly list surfaces the handful of accounts that genuinely need your attention rather than every reminder that went out automatically.

Where this stops

This is early-stage, in-house follow-up, not a debt collection agency. A disputed invoice goes straight back to you rather than being chased further, and an account that genuinely will not pay gets handed over with its full history attached so the write-off or legal-escalation call stays yours to make, informed by a complete record rather than fragments.

Questions

Frequently asked questions: Collections

Do reminders come from a third-party collections agency?

No. Every reminder comes from your own business, in wording and tone you approve. This is early-stage follow-up inside your accounting software, not debt collection.

Can you chase customers across the wider Gulf, not just inside the UAE?

Yes. We adjust cadence and channel for a customer's market, whether they are in the UAE or elsewhere in the region, while keeping the same invoice record and history.

What happens with a customer who will not pay at all?

We hand it to you with the full contact history logged. Writing it off, escalating through legal channels or pursuing it further is your decision.

What records are kept of collections activity?

Every reminder, call note and customer response is logged against the invoice in your accounting software, so there is a full trail if a dispute or write-off decision comes later.

Will collections calls come from a third-party agency?

No. Reminders and follow-up come from your own business, using the templates and tone you approve. This is early-stage follow-up, not debt collection.

What happens with a customer who still will not pay?

We bring it to you with the full history logged. Whether to write it off, escalate to a collections agency or pursue it further is your call.

What if our records for collections are not up to date?

If your records are behind, we scope a catch-up first so collections starts from a clean, reconciled base. That catch-up is priced and timed separately from the ongoing engagement, so you always know what each part costs.

Who reviews the work before it reaches us?

Every deliverable under collections is reviewed by a senior reviewer before it reaches you. You keep access to the underlying file at every stage, so nothing about the work happens somewhere you cannot see it.
