Payroll
Benefits administration support
Finbryn tracks UAE employee benefits, mandatory health insurance enrolment and GPSSA-linked deductions, and reconciles provider invoices against what was actually withheld from pay, including how an end of service gratuity accrual moves when a benefit or salary structure changes mid-year.

Mandatory health insurance, tracked by emirate
Health insurance for employees is mandatory in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, each under its own emirate-level scheme, and common though not universally required elsewhere in the UAE. We check enrolment and deduction records, where an employee contributes toward premium, against what the insurer's invoice actually bills, so the cost split between employer and employee matches what was recorded.
Life and other group benefits
Where a company runs group life cover, medical top-up plans or education allowances alongside the mandatory minimum, we reconcile the provider's invoice against enrolment records the same way, employer and employee cost allocations included, rather than let the annual renewal invoice appear as one unexplained lump.
GPSSA and end of service interaction
A change in salary or allowance structure changes two things at once for many employees: the GPSSA contribution base for a national employee, and, for an expatriate on the standard structure, the gratuity calculation. We flag the change in both directions so a benefit decision made for one reason does not create an unreconciled gap in the other.
What sits outside this
We do not choose your insurer, negotiate premium rates, or decide which benefits a role qualifies for. Those decisions sit with you, your broker or your free zone authority where a minimum scheme applies. Our role starts once a benefit exists: tracking, reconciling and recording it accurately, alongside payroll journals and reconciliations.
One reconciliation across several entities
A group with a Dubai mainland licence and a DIFC or ADGM entity often runs a different benefits scheme in each, with separate invoices and separate enrolment lists. We keep each entity's benefits reconciliation distinct rather than merge them into one figure, so a renewal increase in one scheme does not get buried inside the group total your finance team reviews at month end.
Questions
Frequently asked questions: Benefits administration support
Do you choose our health insurance provider?
No. Provider and plan selection sit with you and your broker, or with the minimum scheme your emirate requires. We reconcile the costs and deductions once a plan is in place.
What happens when an employee's coverage changes mid-year?
We track the change and confirm the new deduction appears on the next pay run, then check it against the provider's next invoice.
Does a benefit change affect end of service gratuity?
It can, since gratuity is usually calculated on basic salary at the point of exit. We flag a structural change so the gratuity accrual is adjusted rather than left on the old figure.
Can you handle benefits across a mainland entity and several free zone entities?
Yes, each entity's enrolment and invoice reconciliation is tracked separately, then rolled up for the group.
Do you choose our benefits plans or broker?
No. Plan design and broker selection are decisions for you. We record and reconcile the costs and deductions once a plan is in place.
What is included in benefits administration support?
Benefits administration support covers benefit sign-up and deduction records checked against payroll platform setup and benefit provider invoices reconciled against sign-up records and amounts billed. The exact scope is agreed and set out in writing before work starts, so you know precisely what is and is not covered before the first deliverable arrives.
How is benefits administration support priced?
Pricing for benefits administration support depends on your transaction volume, the software you use, and how much cleanup is needed before ongoing work starts. Current ranges are published on the pricing page, and your exact fee is confirmed in writing before anything begins.
