Finbryn provides co-sourced internal audit support for CFOs and audit committee chairs, drafting the charter and testing processes against the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, effective for quality assessments from January 9, 2025. Your staff keep a share, Finbryn supports the rest under a chief audit executive the board designates, and it gives no opinion on financial statements.

- An independence statement listing the processes we operate for you and the ones we review

- A plan for the independent quality assessment that the Standards require at least every five years

We list the processes Finbryn already runs for you and the ones you want reviewed, and flag any overlap before the plan is drawn.

Purpose, mandate, reporting line, access, quality assessment and the split of work between your staff and ours.

Risk assessment and annual plan
A documented assessment feeds a short plan that the committee approves before fieldwork.

Fieldwork in cycles
Your staff and our team each test their share, using one workpaper format and one findings template.

Management responses and committee report
Process owners respond in writing, then the committee receives findings and responses together.

Annual refresh
The charter, the independence statement and the plan are reconfirmed with the committee each year.
