US edition

Free tools, no sign-up required.

Estimate your monthly bookkeeping cost or check which framework your reports should follow.

Short answer

This page has two things US business owners ask us for on the first call: a calculator that estimates a monthly bookkeeping price from your transaction count and entity type, and a checklist that flags where your books drift from US GAAP before an outside CPA or lender ever looks at them. Nothing typed into either tool is stored unless you send it to us, and neither one replaces the judgment of your CPA or the preparer who signs your return.

What is here

  • Cost calculator

Enter monthly transaction count, entity type (LLC, S-corp, C-corp, partnership) and whether you need payroll or 1099 contractor tracking, and get a price range back.

  • GAAP checklist

Fifteen yes-or-no questions covering accrual timing, fixed-asset capitalization and revenue recognition, the items a bank or an SBA lender usually flags first.

  • No sign-up

Both tools run in your browser. We never ask for an email address before showing a result.

  • Built around real questions

The questions inside each tool are drawn from common concerns for small-business owners in Texas, Florida and California, not a generic template.

Questions

Using these tools

Is there a catch to using these for free?

No catch. Use the calculator and checklist as often as you like; a priced scope only follows if you book a call.

Does the calculator account for multi-state sales tax nexus?

It flags that you may have nexus if you enter sales into more than one state, then points you to the call to size the actual work.

Will the checklist tell me if I owe the IRS money?

No. It checks bookkeeping mechanics against US GAAP, not your tax position. That question goes to the credentialed preparer who signs your return.

Do you keep what I type in?

Only if you choose to send your results to us through the form on the results screen.

Are these tools a substitute for a real bookkeeping engagement?

No. The calculator, checklist and other tools on this page give you a directional estimate or a starting checklist; they do not replace a review of your actual books, your entity structure or a conversation with a credentialed preparer about your specific situation.

Do I need to create an account to use these tools?

No. Every tool on this page works without a login or a sign-up form. If a result is useful enough that you want it saved or discussed with our team, you can share it with us directly through the contact page.

Next step

Turn the estimate into a written scope

Book a call and we will price the actual work against your chart of accounts and entity type.
