IFRS reporting packs for US subsidiaries of foreign parents
Finbryn provides monthly IFRS reporting packs for US subsidiaries of foreign parents: US books and close, a US GAAP-to-IFRS bridge and the parent's template (IFRS 16 against ASC 842, checked 2026-10-02). Your controller approves the pack; the group auditor does any audit.
What is included
- US books and month-end close
- A monthly US GAAP-to-IFRS bridge with workings
- The parent's reporting-pack template populated
- Intercompany reconciliation by counterparty
- Schedules answering the group auditor's request list
The process
- 1.
Obtain the group's requirements
Your controller shares the reporting-pack template, the group accounting policy manual and the close calendar the parent sets.
- 2.
Map the US ledger to the pack
We map each US chart-of-accounts line to the pack and list every point where IFRS needs a different figure.
- 3.
Build the bridge and test it
The bridge is built on the prior month's closed numbers and compared with what the parent already received, so differences are explained before the first live month.
- 4.
Run the monthly close and pack
US close first, then the bridge, intercompany reconciliation and the template, in the order the group calendar requires.
- 5.
Controller review and submission
Your controller reads the variance commentary, approves the pack and submits it. We do not send anything to the parent.
- 6.
Audit-season support
We answer group auditor schedule requests from the same files, and the log shows what was asked and when.
Software
NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Sheets, Xero
Pricing
Scoped after we see the parent's template and the number of entities and adjustment areas in play. It runs separately from the monthly tiers on the /us/pricing rate card, and the fee is confirmed in writing before the first pack is built.
