Why a registered agent's mail cannot wait
Every US LLC and corporation must maintain a registered agent with a physical address in its state of formation, the party the state and any court can legally serve notices to. A missed service-of-process notice can lead to a default judgment against the business without the owner ever knowing a lawsuit existed, which makes the forwarding step between agent and owner as important as appointing the agent in the first place.
What we coordinate
We set up a forwarding process with whichever agent you appoint, whether that is a commercial registered agent service or an individual with a state address, so anything received gets scanned, logged and routed the same week. When the agent or address changes
If the entity switches registered agents or the agent's address changes, most states require a filing to update the record. We prepare that filing for you or your agent to submit, so the state's record and the entity's actual agent stay in sync.

An entity registered to do business in more than one state needs a registered agent in each one. We keep a single log across all of them rather than tracking each state's agent and renewal date separately, which is where multi-state entities most often lose track of a deadline.

Do we need a separate registered agent for every state we register in?
Yes, each state where the entity is registered to do business needs its own registered agent. We track all of them on one calendar so a renewal in a secondary state does not fall through the gaps.
